Vellum is a versatile paper that adds an air of sophistication to scrapbook pages as well as stamped card projects. Because of the nature of vellum, it can be tricky to stamp on. Here are a few tips:

  • Use opaque bright or dark ink colors only. Pastel colors don’t show up well on vellum.
  • Use dye or solvent ink for best results.
  • Be sure not to rock the stamp when pressing on vellum so the image doesn’t smear.
  • Heat-set vellum to avoid smearing and speed up drying time, remember not to hold embossing gun too close to the vellum to avoid melting.
