Scrapping Gals was created in 2003 to eliminate the frustration felt by it's owner; Kathy.  Kathy is an avid "scrapping gal" born and raised in the California sun.  When Kathy and her family moved to Asia in 1999 from Roswell,  Georgia  Kathy found that she was spending days on end looking for quality scrapbook materials to use in her family books and then to recommend to her students.

Kathy knew that there had to be a way to get "the good stuff" to Asia -- and that is how Scrapping Gals came to be.  Kathy loved scrapbooking but couldn't feed her passion.  One morning she woke up and decided that she couldn't take it any longer and knew she had to do something; Hong Kong as well as the rest of Asia had been left behind the rest of the world and she knew she had to "do something about it!"

Kathy and her team are committed to bringing to Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Brunei (or any other Asian country) only the highest in quality materials and at the most reasonable price.  Living in Asia doesn't mean you have to pay more, or that you should settle for last years products.  Kathy is a firm believer of this and doesn't approve of the purchase of any item that she wouldn't personally be proud to use in her books.
